Keep on trying

I have given myself the task to start reading books again. I'll try with light and easy ones first, just to get back into the habit. Between those I will try and finish Ireland before the month is out. (Ireland of course is neither complicated nor boring, I actually love reading it, love all those stories put together in one collection, but I cannot read more than a few pages at a time - no idea why)

So I am currently browsing my Shelf of Shame for stuff that looks like a fast and easy read. Today I finished Bridget Jones's Diary which I had been given by a friend who found it in a paper recycling bin, "saved" it and gave it to me "because you do read books in English, don't you?"

Next up will be either one of the new books by Rebecca Shaw (I must have mislaid one of them, though - I bought them a couple of weeks ago and now there is only one lying around) or Alan Dean Foster's Star Trek novel or one of David Safier's books. Ah, choices.

pageturning, shelf of shame
