Golden October

I've spent the last few days in Jylland visiting my father. It has been very relaxing. I've almost forgotten about my university project, which probably isn't all that good, but I really needed to get away and breathe for a while. We've been visiting museums and archaeological sites, so I haven't totally forgotten about my studies. But I really think I've found the inspiration that I've been lacking for so long in my academical work. I've regained the joy and curiousity that archaeology used to bring me.
Today autumn finally came in all it's cold and rainy glory. While we were driving home from one of the above mentioned museums, the sun broke through the clouds, and bathed the landscape in golden light. It brought out the colours of the forests and hills in incredible ways. It is interesting how a landscape that you know can suddenly change so dramatically, just by adding a certain light. I lack the words to describe the beauty of the contrast between the golden autumn colours of the earth and the grey and purple sky. So amazing. And then Bifrost showed it's glamour on the horizon. This is truly magic.

On a little more down to earth note: I'll be picking up the tickets for Corpse Bride tomorrow evening, so I'd very much like to know who's coming as soon as possible. Thank you! :)
