So I finally managed to get my Saint from the post office today. He'd been at the post office for a week while I've been on holiday, but I'll be counting today as his arrival date. 666 is such an appropriate day for a priest. ;)
For some reason my package was delivered to a department that deals with companies rather than individual citizens, instead of my local post office, and the lady there didn't look like she was used to dealing with such things. She couldn't find my package at first, and called at least three people to track it. After twenty minutes she decides to take another look, and lo and behold, the package is right behind her... Thank goodness. I was worried there for a minute.
The package was pretty battered though, so I opened it up right then and there, to check if my doll was ok. Thankfully, he was.
He'll be getting a faceup one of these days, but I though some people might want to see what he looks like bare. So here are a few pictures of my faceupless, but in my opinion completely breathtakingly beautiful Saint. His name is Sebastien.
(Sorry about the blurry pictures. The sun was almost down when I took these)
Oh, how I love his detailed and complicated sculpt!
