The Bauhaus concert tonight. I lack words to describe it. Or rather, I have too many words.
It was exquisite and exhilarating and nostalgic and utterly beautiful and heart-wrenching and so much more...
When he sang out that last lamenting Hollow Hills I felt chills running up and down my body. I can only compare it to a feeling which is usually brought on by touch, not sound. I walked, nay floated, away from there in an incredible state of bliss.
Apart from briefly contemplating what sort of place in hell is reserved for people who let their inane chatter interfere with someone else's concert experience, I can't mention a single negative aspect.
I must stop now. I'll only repeat myself. All there is left to say is thank you, Bauhaus.
(I am of course not talking about the twenties and thirties German aesthetic movement or the Danish chain of home improvement stores, if you should be in any doubt! ;))
Oh, and I'm home again, by the way! ^_^
