Things just got better from there.  faor says  I was apathetic to Lamont and his friendship with Worth until I read this awesome fiction. In under 4000 words, Rocket Happy very convincingly fleshes out the epic bromance between the two: from their first meeting, to an easy discovery of Worth's masochism, to Lamont's family being in "textiles." I found myself laughing outright at some of the lines, and I have firmly established this as headcanon.
