Some stories catch you up- they whisk you off your feet and it doesn't matter how long they are, how short- whether they're filled with pain and suffering or just full to the brim of burgeoning happiness. It doesn't matter that you've done this song and dance before- that you've filled yourself so full of the fandom that it seems like nothing will ever catch your interest the way those first few starburst works of brilliance did. That nothing else will ever compare. Some stories are just so beautiful that they carry themselves, and this is one of those. "You look like something I loved-" and "I found you-" and "Sometimes lovers die tangled together in Ancient Greece and meet again just one life later, on some spaceship cruising the starry skies of the Crab Nebula, and don't even grace each other with a second glance-" and "Say Roxas, do you ever dream?" There's a playlist to accompany it, and the music adds so much atmosphere to it. It's gut punch after gut punch, and I always love the way that Lisa utilizes her skills as a literary wonder, but damn. She really, really, really took the cake this time. As I told her, the only thing I can do to convey how much I adore this is let everyone know that it has me biting my knuckles and chanting perfect perfect perfect under my breath as I read.
