I spent most of Thanksgiving break developing my web site, which still needs a lot of work. I've taken to approaching it iteratively. The letters of recommendation have been requested. Its at www.lucidanomaly.net.
This blog has been quiet for some time. Part of the reason is I'm not quite sure who I'm posting for, or what I am posting about. Two of my friends started Blogger blogs about their escapades in Japan, but I do not think that such a place would be the best, either. So instead, I'll be posting various security levels of journal entries about my life here, which can also be seen from www.lucidanomaly.net/journal, and more of my academic/professional/other entries at www.lucidanomaly.net. I'm also using Twitter to micro-blog, in such a way as to provide an interesting slice of my current life. Often times I crosspost Twitter updates to Facebook, but not always.
My portfolio will be available from www.lucidanomaly.net/portfolio, and that will be where I will be keeping my statement of purpose and other project sites from my time in at the University of Maryland.
Now... on to the Duck. Here's a pic of the bird going into the oven -- no twine, so we had to make do:
Mm... improvisation. My dad insisted on getting pictures of us holding the roasted bird, and considering the new camera is courtesy of him I figured I'd oblige...
Yesterday (Saturday) evening was very enjoyable. But, the details will have to be withheld for various reasons. I will mention that I had dinner and played pool, mario kart and other games with Anastasia. She's a doctoral student at the University of Baltimore, and someone I've known for a fair amount of time. I'm coming to know her more, and I'm enjoying that. Oh, and she bakes a mean Pumpkin vanilla rum swirl cheesecake. I think that was my downfall.
That's all.
