I can see how you'd get that impression, but no. I avoid watching such things if at all possible (it's never good for my blood pressure).

One of the FFnet C2s I subscribe to happened to have this fic in a recent update. I thought it was funny. :D

Nope, not me. (I got the summary info from the C2 alert. I really need to go to FFnet and get the author's name to add it to the rec. They should include author info with the C2 email!)

i restrict my contact with the political world to the west wing and movies like american dreamz....

Yes, definitely! lol

On Fanfiction.net, if you want to know when someone adds fics to a C2 you've subscribed to, you turn on the "alert" option and get an email each time a story is added to that C2. Kind of like a story alert, except you only get one for new stories added to the C2, not for when those stories are updated. (Geez, was any of that even understandable? I suck at explaining things like this. :P)

Okay. If you subscribed to this C2 (for example):

Vampire Fiction to Sink Your Teethe Into

Every time a new fic was added to that comm., you'd get an alert, provided you have that option turned on, in your email.

Hope that helps! :)

You can find all the current C2s on FFnet here:
http://www.fanfiction.net/communities/

C2 = community 2.0 (I think. They probably explained the name when the feature was rolled out, but it's been years, and my memory is terrible.) It's basically just an specialized archive within the main archive, where the maintainer and "staff" of the C2 can add selected FFnet stories to their sub-archive. Kind of like your favorites list, only you can allow others to add to it along with you.

Here are the Twilight C2s:
http://www.fanfiction.net/communities/book/Twilight/

Anything else I can help with, just ask. :)

Oh! I meant to add, if you have an account on FFnet, you're allowed to create one C2 of your own.
