I wonder why Father's Day is set on different dates in different countries? Ours is set on May 21, whereas Mother's Day and Women's Day are pretty much harmonized, aren't they?
International Women's Day, May 8. Over here, people really do celebrate it rather that Mother's day and I kind of like the idea. It's less 'discriminating', since not every woman automatically is a mother, but every mother is a woman.

Well, that's true, but that's kind of the point to Mother's Day. That it's for mothers, not just women in general. If you've gone through labor*, personally, I think you /deserve/ a day in honor of you. LOL
*Yes, I know some mothers adopt their children. Still not the point. ;D
