Looooooong time, No post
heee, Yeah. Quick and easy update on the last couple months.
I PASSED MY GED!!!!!!!!!! w00t!
Scott moved here and is now in an apartment looking for a job! ::happyhappy::
I went with my chorus (Houston Horizon) to the International competition in Detroit. We performed our set, got into the top ten, performed another set of songs, and WON 7th PLACE! 7th in the WORLD!! ::ecstatic wiggle:: Now we're working on our repitoire songs, will soon be learning new competition songs, and plan to kick butt and have fun at next year's Regionals.
To expand a bit on this one topic... I had a total blast!!! Travelled to a new city, met wonderful people, ate different foods, saw cool things, heard amazing music, learned a lot about barbershop, bonded with people from my chorus. And nothing compares to being up on stage and hearing the audience cheer for you. Nothing compares to knowing the song you and your chorus just sang touched people's hearts and souls. WOW. Just, wow.
Lotta other stuff happened, as well, but those're the main points. Also, Oni-Con is coming up. Ren Fest is coming up. Figuring out what testing I need to do to get into college is on the table. I'm so ready, bring it on, world!
