work is going much more smoothly than yesterday. the combo of working on x-mas until 1am and the fact that everyone seemed to be edgy and exhausted when they called; some of them downright shitty, could add to the effect. i love my new place. i love conor's dog. i am happy with my job. i made a sh*t-ton of cash on x-mas.
trouble calls, service orders, sales, assholes, and leftover x-mas food. no internet at home. gloomy and gross weather. no feeling of holidays. a show coming up next week. gabe said it was on thursday the 6th but there is no such day so i'm still uncertain as to when i'm playing.
i watched boondock saints and thought it was a cool movie. not the most intellectual of movies but it was fun. a cat meets a gory demise and there is an inane earp western reference.
i like some of my coworkers. some of them are unfriendly. the 3rd floor is haunted by an electrician that died during the construction of the building for the IRS. From the shadowlands haunting database = "St. Paul - Revenue bldg. former location at 10 River Park Plaza - Ghostly figures have been seen walking through the aisles or sitting at unoccupied data entry terminals. Tax return batches regularly flew off of the shelves and when investigated, they always had multiple returns of deceased people in the batches. Early morning noises could be heard of lockers being opened and closed. The cause was never found. We were told an electrician died while the building was being constructed."
