Doing my Duty
So today I had lunch with Megan, the girl I mentor who has crohn's/colitis. She's formed a team for the yearly Crohn's and Colitis Take Steps Walk-a-thon to raise money and awareness. The walk is a 3k somewhere nearby in early May. I have been recruited to her team and so it is my duty to use this forum to ask for support.
I realize that quite a few of you do not have money to spare, but if you want to do something you can: a) ask someone with money to look at my personal fundraising website or b) join the team and take part in the walk with me.
If you want to donate some money please go to my personal fundrasing website where you can use a credit card or if you give me cash I can donate it using my bank account. Even if you only give 5$ it'd be fantastic. All donations are tax deductible.
If you don't feel like doing the above things it is fine too. I'm not trying to guilt anyone into this, just trying to fulfill my duty to the team.
