To explain the title I have to step back to about 4 years ago.
On my first day of med school we were given these gifts from our "big sib." This was the first and last time he ever spoke to me. In the gift bag was a single Miller Lite. I laughed quite a bit at this gesture thinking, "yep drink up while you can" and put the beer away when I got home. I didn't end up drinking it. After it sat in my fridge for a month I thought to myself, "hmm wonder if I can just leave it until I finish." With that I put it into a cabinet and it sat until I was clearing out stuff a few weeks ago in prep for the big trash day to come, having forgotten all about it.
Now I just took my last test of medical school. I am now DONE! (provided that I passed) There are not sufficient words for what this is like. In 14 days 22 hours and 2 minutes I will be given a small piece of paper and someone will call me Doctor legitimately for the first time. I am both overwhelmed and elated about all of this. All I can think to say is, "It's Miller time!"
