Portal 2 - Oh man this game is so good! I haven't laughed out loud so many times at a video game in a long time. It's not quite as intensely challenging as the first, but then again, a lot of the first one was figuring out the tricks. Once you start "Thinking with Portals", as it were, it really makes the game more of a 'cake'walk than it really should be. ::drumbeat:: I'm really loving the game though. More once I beat both it and co-op.
Okami - Becky was kind enough to lend me her copy of Okami. I will be playing this just as soon as I'm done with Portal 2. I've wanted to play/get this game for a while, so I'm looking forward to it.
Bioshock - Gotta beat this one - won't take much as the only particularly challenging parts of the game are beating the Big Daddy's (and BOY are they hard)
RDR:Undead Nightmare - Everytime I have guests, I remember to play this game. I need to set aside some time to play it, because it IS awesome. The only thing is that the Tomahawk makes the game less challenging. That said, it's still pretty hard.
Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes - Downloaded the demo for this one. I really enjoyed it, but I don't want to spend the 1200 points on it and have it be one of those games I never play again, like Puzzle Quest or Defense Grid.
Shadow of the Colossus - Started playing this one last week while all the houseguests were sleeping. SOOOOO good. I feel bad that I never make the time out for it, but I like beating one Colossi and then putting it down so each defeat is special.
There's more games on my "to-do" list - Viva Pinata, Armored Core, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and all the expansions for example - but those are the ones currently on my mind.
Weekend -
Saw Joe Stoner on Friday. Deena was out of town, so that was sad that we couldn't see her. But it was cool. Had a few beers, then watched some video shorts that Joe has been working on. It was a short stay, but it was fun!
Spent the rest of the evening with Ron watching Trailer Park Boys. The past week with him has been fun. I'm going to miss him.
Saturday was spent playing board games and chatting with the old crew in Glens Falls. Rob, Becky, Lisa, Luke, Sean and a little bit of Ben. We played some Agricola and some Pandemic, two of my more favorite board games next to Carcasonne or Settlers of Catan. It was good seeing them. I miss those times.
Sunday was spent in Church and doing easter stuff. I am an agnostic, so went mostly to appease Kelly's Mom more than out of any vague sense of Christian obligation - that said, it was a good time. Lutherans aren't the worst worshipers. Their Choir needs some work, but they try, gosh darn it!
Other -
Started watching the new "My Little Ponies" at Shael's insistance. I'm sorry, but the show is actually KINDA good. Like... captivatingly good. It's still VERY clearly a kids show, but it's good enough where it's entertaining for adults, too. Not like, "Avatar:tLA" quality good, but still really good.
Trailer Park Boys - If you aren't watching this show now, you really should. It's really amusing. Picture "The Office" if it took place in a trailer park.
Working out - I have a lot to do this week with Crossfit! I'm definitely noticing an improvement in my tone. I'm not really losing weight, but that's not entirely my goal. Crossfit really is kicking my muscle tone into overdrive, though.
Diet - Still trying to figure this one out. I'm back on Sparkpeople to attempt dieting and calorie counting again.
