ive been reading some essays on philosophy, talking about all the major philosophers who have been labeled existentialists.... and this got me thinking about religion, and how a while ago I tried to get a bunch of free shit from Focus on the family and never got it. now this pissed me because the only reason they are able to "sell" shit on there website and keep there nonprofit classification is because they offer it for free. well today when i got off work i went home and called them up. no record of my request but some manager apologized and reprocessed the order.
now i don't believe in organized and systematic religion. or at least i fear the sheep mentality which people adopt when they agree to be told what to believe. however in the same spirit i respect peoples ability to choose what religion if any to follow. but what i don't agree with is hypocrisy. I see myself not so much attacking an organization so much as keeping them honest.
i found out that the reason my original order was lost is because of computer hackers. now focus on the family is in the end a fundamentalist, religious right, manipulative force of destruction in today's society but to attack them out right while understandable, it isn't justifiable. lets not sink to their level and keep our vandalism at getting free lute.
