This poem is simply about what ran through my mind at that moment.

I shuffle through the hall of broken mirrors
Staring at a million burning eyes
All alive in a backward world
Twisting shadows - a hushed whisper
Watching me
Watching her
The truth is all a lie
When it comes to things like labyrinths

When the clouds catch fire,
I'll be waiting for you
My skin, pale as ash
My heart's pounding metronome ceased
You made a wish
On a star
And time froze for a second when
You kissed me for the very last time, Mistress.

Understand?

You kissed me for the very last time, Mistress
And time froze for a second when
On a star,
You made a wish.
My heart's pounding metronome ceased
My skin, pale as ash.
I'll be waiting for you
When the clouds catch fire.

When it comes to things like labyrinths,
The truth is all a lie,
Watching her
Watching me
Twisting shadows - a hushed whisper
All alive in a backward world
Staring at a million burning I's
I shuffle through the hall of broken mirrors.
