am home, rested, and hungry.
yesterday was a really long day, because me and landon left wisconsin at 1am after a nice vegetartian dinner party on friday night offset by a bucket of KFC. we said all our goodbyes, went to his house and packed, and were on the road by 2. he drove until 5.30, and i took the 6-10.30 driving shift, and then we got home by 12.30. i took a nice long nap before matt's party, which was really fun despite the giant thunderstorm that knocked the power out until about 8 (the same thunderstorm that landon and I had been driving through since 3am...) and i got to see a lot of people one last time before everyone leaves for college.
speaking of college- i'm going to have to start filling out transfer applications before christmas, so i have to start looking for cheap, good colleges preferably near either boston or new haven. really, i want to stay at tufts but i know that unless they help me out a lot financially, my parents will cut me off after the first year, so i'm looking for the type of environment that there is at tufts (good engineering, good languages, good international relations, not too big, not in the middle of a city) but will give me merit aid or something so i can afford it. any suggestions?
