my toenail is so gnarly. I like to imagine this tiny world down there, and the crack is like a faultline in the surface. Pretty soon half the toe nail will separate and it will be like i have a mini pangea on my foot that is evolving into the continents as we know them, with beautiful clipped and filed down coastlines. After many days/billions of years I won't even remember what it was like to have a whole mass of nail. I just hope that it never becomes populated with creatures.
