My world tilts, I lean against the wall to keep myself balanced, it’s hopeless. I crumble to the floor as Giles voice echoes in my mind - Jenny’s dead. I shatter, which I thought would be impossible since I’m barely holding on.
Since I found out about the curse, I’ve let The Slayer take over. The Slayer can’t be broken by anything. Guess I was wrong because she’s just as bruised and shattered as me. I counted on her getting us through Angelus, never counted on him destroying us both.
The tingle runs down my spine and tears roll down my cheeks faster. He must just be loving this.
