This was excellent from beginning to end.

Your visuals are strong as is your characterization, especially for Buffy.

Thank you.

You don't need to thank me sweetie, it was a great story. I thought Buffy was really believable and I liked how you wrote Dean/Sam. It's made me interested to watch the show! Good luck with your sequel.

*sputters and points* I missed the ending! How the heck did I miss the ending?!

I think you already know that I've enjoyed this story from the first chapter but I'll just make sure of it. ^_^ I've loved reading this. You really nailed emotionally unstable Dean with how intense he was over going after Buffy once he thought she was a demon and then his reaction to everything that happened with the First. The ending was great because it didn't really resolve anything but at the same time you could tell that this was the conclusion while leaving it open to be continued later. Dean didn't ask and Buffy didn't say yes to going with them and yet you get the feeling that not long after she tells him what John said, he asks.

Of course, you could prove me wrong with the sequel, who knows? All I know is this has been a wonderful read and I can't wait for more.

Now, I'm off to check out everything else. I'm so behind on LJ and everything that it's ridiculous.

Don't know how I missed your review sweetie! I love the idea of The First & YED being either one of the same or in cahoots, there is such potential for amazing stories IMO.

I loved the banner!! *smoochies*

I just read this whole thing and I was riveted. I don't read a lot of fan fiction but this was the most interesting one that I have. Very cool the way you brought The First to YED.

Plus, you gave me B/D while also feeding my BAngel soul. Thanks. :)

Thank you so much for leaving feedback! I had so much fun writing this piece and I'm honored that you'd read, especially since you aren't a big fanfiction reader. I will be writing a sequel to this (almost have the first part done).

I'm a B/A'er and I don't think you can ignore the significance that Angel(us) had in Buffy's life. She loves him no matter what and The First would know how to use that love and connection against our blonde Slayer.

Again, thanks so much for taking the time to read and then for leaving feedback I truly appreciate it.

Oh, it was my pleasure! :)

I was rather surprised by how intrigued I was by the idea of B/D being such a hardcore B/A'er. I've never been fond of any other Buffy or Angel ships. But, as I've said, the idea of Buffy and Dean is very interesting to me. I think I love him as much as Angel and that's saying something! lol

I felt you were pretty true to characters too. The fact that Dean was disgusted (right word??) by Buffy's response to being bitten was incredibly acurate in my mind. He still has such a black & white line drawn between evil and good. And Buffy's response of "You don't get to judge me for that." was also quite accurate. So, kudos to you!

I eagerly await your sequel! :) I believe I found your story through the Route 66 board but if it's okay with you, I'd like to just friend your journal so I can keep up with your work. :)

I completely don't mind you friending this journal, it's why I made it. I know I've written some Buffy/Angel pieces and you'll be able to find 'em through either the tags or the memories if you want.

I caused intrigue? *blushes* I find when people pair Buffy or Angel with others they make them split for something silly like Buffy just falling out of love with Angel or Angel realizing Buffy isn't his mate. There's no reason for it and as a B/A shipper it at times rankles me because they love each other. With that said I've found myself becoming a big B/D shipper due to the dynamic of their personalities and trying to find a way to put them together while still being true to the characters we know. Relieved to know that you feel I stayed in character with this piece. *grins*
