Survival? That is a mortal’s issue one that shows how weak and frail they truly are. An Old One does not survive anything; we destroy it till it becomes nothing. To survive would mean you thought you were to fail I never fail. It is against who I am to loose a battle.
The Vampires’ thought I would be hurt; that since they sucked my power that this mortal shell could not hold that I would be defeated. They believed that the strength that I once possessed would be unsurpassed. They were wrong and perhaps on some level I was wrong. I do not like the feeling.
Watching Wesley died sparked something inside. Revenge laced with grief is far stronger. I dismembered thousands, slaughtered more. The revenge I seek has not been fulfilled…yet, though it will. The ones that destroyed him will fear me before their tortured death. The earth once shuddered in submission from the whisper of my name. I will reign again and they will pay their debt to me. They will bow before me and beg for mercy and I will show none.
