Little nothings means most.

When I was younger, my mom used to pack me lunches in a paperbag and slip a post-it note that would read "Hi cat x2, have a good day, love mama". Those notes made me smile, especially if I was tired or not having a good day. Yesterday I had to work graveyard 11pm-7am and my boss, Theresa (who works day shifts) wrote me a note that said "Hi Catherine, have a good night, -Tee" It brought back good memories, and made me smile. My night started off on a good note. Literally. It did. Little gestures like these makes me really happy. I love my job. I miss my mom but her prescence is really around me. I believe this with all my heart. I also worked alongside with Sid's mom who is teaching me a lot about nursing. You would think working graveyard is hard, but good people are hard to come by, and having my co-workers around, makes it easier. .
