For those of my friends in the Boston area who might be interested, the Market Basket grocery store in Ashland carries Halal chicken. I don't know if any others in the chain do or not.

There's also a Halal butcher and small grocery store a block from our home. (Our neighborhood has many Turkish Muslims. There is a mosque around the corner.) It is at 136 Lowell Street, Methuen, MA. This is just a few blocks from Thwaite's Market. It is 5 minutes off Route 93.

Likewise, we have a Hahal butcher on South St here in Jamaica Plain. I haven't been in to see what they have yet.

Jamaica Plain is much closer than Ashland or Lowell :) Have to check it out!
