I GOT THE JOB!
This is the beginning of a line of opportunities for me to reach for! I'm so so excited about this program. This is real world work experience while learning more about creative process and entertainment in a family market. Working in Disney, networking with disney professionals, and getting my foot in the door of one of the biggest companies in the world, Walt Disney, a fortune 100 company. I've wanted to work for Disney for as long as I can remember and this is my chance to make it a reality. I can possibly be rehired afterwards for a career with the company which will put my firmly in line for grabbing an offer in an art job within the company. The art job positions are normally only offered within the company so you have to already be working for disney to even SEE the opening offers. Which this will be my way in and I'm very excited to start a chapter of my life with Disney. Gonna log in for the first time tomorrow and accept the invite and set up my arrival dates and etc. Gonna be interesting :).
So i had an amazing halloween with my little boy and hope to be fiancee ( someday he'll ask me, I just don't know wheeeennnnnn ) and we carved pumpkins and decorated the house, went trick-or-treating, and had a mini party with some friends. Thanksgiving break is just around the corner here and before it is finals and final projects etc. Got a final paper for one class, an exam essay for another class, a finished 4 panel cartoon for cartooning class, four paintings to finish in two weeks for my watercolor independent study, my last couple of sketchbook assignments and going back to add to or fix any previous assignments for the final critique in same class. Well back to homework for me. Laterzzzzz.... :D:D:D:D
