midnightoak and I are back from our LARPing, and much fun was had by all, aside from the heatstroke. Someone else's pictures of the event are available-who is who is left as an exercise for the reader, although our group, Schaffhausen has a rather good group portrait.
As one might expect, wearing masks and black robes in the heat this weekend was somewhat trying. The brief rain on Saturday came as something of a relief. With a bit of luck, the September event in Derby will be cooler; it'll certainly be easier to get to.
I was a bit upset we missed sielis and waistcoatmark's announcement. though; Congratulations to them!
In other news, I was in Somerfield yesterday, and I note that the Indian food is labelled as 'exotic', which seemed a bit behind the times really...
