is that a metaphor?

Apparently this show is the only reason I post here anymore. I don't mean for it to be that way, it just is. And, as usual, I'm starting out optimistic. As much as I like a Sam in pain, dying Sam worries me. Especially because Sam's in a coma and coma Sam means less Jared time. It sounds like the sort of thing that they might need to wrap up quickly though. Dream Sam is not enough Sam for me. I love that in his head they're forever driving in the Impala. Oh Sammy.

I always love the title card and the flaming wings are no exception. Those are pretty hot.

I am mildly pleased that Tahmoh is an angel. His angel voice is a little hilarious though.

Ok, I love dream Bobby with his point about how stupid their repeated sacrificing is. Because that's why he didn't look for Dean! He was trying that out.

Every time the angels talk about their grace is just sounds ridiculous. They really couldn't have found a better word?

I do love when Dean banishes angels.

Oh Sam. He wants to set Dean free. And his face when he says that line about no one else getting hurt because of him? Oh the guilt that kid still carries with him. It is my favorite. And then that stupid angel with his bit about Sam saying yes to Dean. I love that Dean's not just making the selfish decision, which I would also love, to get his brother back. He knows his brother would not be down with the possession. And his battle with wanting him back, but not wanting to do something that would make Sam hate him.

"There ain't no me if there ain't no you." Which was the line where they made me make a noise I haven't made for these boys in quite a while. Well, actually I probably made that noise during the finale, but before that it had been a while. Seriously boys. And Sam with his teary eyes and the being torn, but he still trusts his brother. Continuing to be each other's weakness, which is still my weakness. I just wish this season wasn't going to be built around Dean lying to Sam about something Sam would not be down with, though Sam did agree to his plan, but he doesn't remember that now. And he didn't know what the plan was. As long as this lie, when it's revealed it doesn't lead to another brother break up. I have to believe that they know better than to do that again. They can break up for a couple episodes, but that's it. And I'm glad we get Sam instead of Ezekiel all the time. I don't want that to be it for Tahmoh, though. When I heard he was going to be on I was excited, and I just can't imagine they'd not get more use out of him.

Here's my quandary though. I initially thought Zeke sent Dean into Sam's head to convince him to live and when he morphed into Zeke at the end it was just because he was the conduit. But I'm seeing some people who think it was Zeke with Dean's face. I guess I could buy that, but Zeke wouldn't know them well enough to feed Sam those lines. So maybe that was it, but Dean still must have told him what to say. And the emotion there. I just choose to believe that it was actually Dean.

Yep, I'm all in again.
