I've been in a cooking mood today. Or rather, I've been in the mood for fish chowder for several days, and for fried apples for a couple of weeks, and today I got around to making them. I'm playing around with the apples-- I added cinnamon, raisins, walnuts, and slivers of orange peel, along with a liberal splash of Harlequin brandy..... rather
