This entire mix is Andrew Bird's fault. The moment I connected the soft longing and intense, quiet quality of "Not a Robot, But a Ghost" to Otacon, I was going to make a mix. It just took way too damn long. Peripherally I'm aware that my song interpretations are different than others... Gah, I could talk about the finer notes of my selections all day, I am that pretentious when it comes to music. Anyway, I hope you like. Expect a Snake mix from me sometime.
Also, the fact that I didn't put "Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk" or Ben Fold's "Mess" on here should be chalked up the to sole fact that the flow was wrong when I put them in.
Oh, and huge kudos go to flamintwilight, my partner is lyrical obsession, for listening to be babble about this mix so much. Dankon, mi amiko. ♥
Also also, you will never know how much it amuses me that the Philanthropy song, "Love and Peace or Else" has a line 'as you enter this life/I pray you depart/with a wrinkled face/and a brand new heart'. I lol so hard. :D FORESHADOWING? IN MY FANMIX? IT'S MORE LIKELY THAN YOU THINK.
