It could be Number One King or just Number One? =o I had a look at the kanji lyrics on the case cover and it says in english "No. 1." Man, I really need to motivate myself to start learning Kanji! xDxD

Yeah! =o I mean, there was one website that translated it as "Number Wong" and I couldn't help but laugh! xDxD;;;

Katakana and Hiragana are definitely easier to learn! xD

xD I only assumed it was Japan because when she helps translate some eastern alchemy she says "kin" means gold. *shot* Who knows, Arakawa might have based it on oriental nations in general? =o

It's a sort of smoothie of East-Asian countries, but there seems to be a lot of Chinese influence, so in my opinion it's ended up as China with random lumps of Far East thrown in (ninja and the such). The clothing, names (Xiao Mei means "little sister"), and on that the panda, not to mention Ling's sword (a Chinese dao), Lan Fan and Fu's masks, various other phenotypical reasons--mm, and the fact that Xing is apparently gigantic and ruled by an emperor. I don't know, a lot of people say "Xing is basically China", so I've sort of accepted it. xD;;

The second of Lan Fan's (Sotto, sotto) I think means Gently, Gently or Softly, softly. xD

They should make Kanji less confusing! =P
