MORTAL KOMBAT: knight vs cowboy edition.
Because this is a conversation that has been getting more interesting and complex by the second...what's your opinion? We hadn't decided on equipment/mounted vs unmounted/etc., so just assume that:
1. Cowboy has 1 revolver, fully loaded, and is wearing standard cowboy gear.
2. Knight has full plate mail on, including helmet, and a mace.
Basically, the question is whether a standard 1880s revolver was powerful and accurate enough that a standard non-gunslinger cowboy could shoot through full, well-made plate mail. And whether or not a knight would be able to keep coming at said cowboy if the cowboy did manage to shoot him.
Naturally, both could end up dead, but THAT IS NOT AN OPTION IN THIS POLL.
