The Story Of How I Got The Pants Scared Off Of Me Last Night:
While I was sitting around waiting for a SPN 4X11 torrent that wasn't 1.08 GB, I decided to watch Doctor Who.
Now, to explain why I picked Midnight, I feel like I need to go over why I hated it the first time. The first time I watched Midnight I'd been watching lots of Resident Evil. Yes, really. So, clearly, I was Unimpressed and thought it was the stupidest thing ever and the screen with Rose's face was the most idiotic thing I'd ever seen (I still kind of think that...), and there was no Donna to save the episode. Second time I watched it, aka last night around 10, I was actually WATCHING it, and it's an amazing episode. The very end was much more whoa for me than anything else, along with the stewardess in general.
SO! SCARY THING #1 WATCHED, although it really wasn't all that scary.
After that, I was checking the exceedingly stupid torrents again, and finally found the normal-sized one, yay! I started downloading it, and while waiting, I decided that I should watch one of the episodes I missed. I picked Ghostfacers because I'd heard it was funny. And it IS, excluding the sad sadness of the sad tale of Corbett. Poor Corbett. It also had the great line of how gay love can pierce The Veil and stuff, so I was in a very amused, happy mood.
And then, I watched 4X11, Family Remains.
Eek.
When she was a ghost, I WAS OKAY, but as soon as she crossed that salt line, I was flipping out. When they were crawling around inside the walls, I was flipping out. And when the "HER BROTHER" twist came around, I NEARLY SCREAMED. Jesus CHRIST I hate the Human episodes!
Buuut then we get to Dean crying some more and saying he enjoyed cutting people up and stuff, and I was no longer terrified. I was kind of laughing my ass off, because my next thought, LITERALLY my next thought when Kripke's name popped onto the screen was "what next, he raped kittens?" Which led to really horrible thoughts and lines in my head that I'm not going to share because they're like dead baby jokes and a lot of people kind of don't like those.
Anyway. Scared -> amused/scared -> FLIPPING OUT/laughing my ass off.
A very, very strange night.
