We-are-familyyy...
That, at the very least, was the background theme of my weekend. First, on a rather hot Saturday morning, I was among those attending the wedding of our secretary, Sara.
Her husband is a good young man - they're both still quite young, actually, but he kinda looks like Harry Potter with a bit of facial hair thrown in the mix and a more lively hairdo (at least, when compared to the Radcliffe incarnation). Funny!
Seeing how they are happy right now, I really hope their life together will be long and rewarding.
And then, Sunday I finally had my chance to greet widdle Camilla, Stefano and Fiammetta's firstborn daughter. She's a wonderful baby girl, and while she's only gotten a few weeks of age under her belt, the child had about a dozen of people going all ooh and aah around her, and smiling all the time to each other.
Kids are a real miracle in this respect, I think, because they crack our mighty shell of distractions, worries - huge or small - and aimless wanderings, reminding us that we're still able to care about someone else.
