D'aw thanks! I'll say Vash found a pair of sunglasses as I haven't actually said if he found his yet or not! ~_^ He'll be very happy and so very confused!
Finland probably just put that the gifts were from Santa so people probably aren't going to guess it was him and he really doesn't expect thanks, just that people like their presents. Awww, no kicking the Finland
Uh, oh. Question! Atsuki here can read "residual Shinen" of living things who leave their thoughts/emotions on it. Are the nations in Hetalia considered to be "alive?"
I ask because his power is stipulated to only work on living things. If they are then I think if allowed he'll read Finland's thoughts of good will and such off the present itself.
Not that he'd connect that thought to Finland until he met the guy face to face to feel his thoughts being similar to the one he picked up before.
So yeah. I have to ask this because he's canonically extremely nosy.
Hmm... well, in Hetalia, there is a geographical country and there is a "human" counterpart who is affected by the normally geographical country issues, ie in canon Spain (human name Antonio) got sick when Spain the country was having severe financial issues. So (long version to get to that), yes Hetalia countries are alive. They just live as long as their country still exists (except in cases where the country is occupied where they live with the occupying country).
So he'd probably be able to pick up the feelings off of Finland's present.
