Hiatus
Okay, so here's the deal. I've been struggling with Derek for a while now. I have his voice, but haven't really felt any sort of push to get him involved in anything lately. And playing him in his current condition kinda wears me down, because there's no easy fix for it, and getting him out of his funk would require a lot of deep CR and probably a psychologist, or something BIG outside of himself to focus on...which, face it, Luceti doesn't present a lot of opportunities for, except during draft and certain experiments. And I'll be honest, I'm pretty sure folks are about as thrilled at the idea of people babying Derek into a better headspace as I am...which is to say, not.
So, I'm stuck. And honestly, I don't want to pull him out of Luceti, but unless I can come up with something that won't have him stewing in his own juices for the next several months, I may have to. So until I either figure it out, or decide it's just too far gone, Derek is once again going on hiatus and getting quietly Mallynapped.
As for Foot, I still have a few things in the works (including the Great Kitten Pass Off, which I'm holding off on doing until some people come back from hiatus, so they don't miss the post), but I'm also not sure what I'll be doing with her in the long run.
So I guess...for now, I'm on Hiatus. Again. Until I can think of something better to do, or decide this bandaid needs to come off.
