Are fairy tales from other worlds game? I'm specifically thinking "Tales of Beadle the Bard" from Harry Potter here.

I'm serious, if those are game, I would love to get involved in one of those like burning.

Also, does damage done over the course of the fairy tale carry over? If a character "dies" fulfilling their role, do they actually die?

ANYWAY! Plotting ideas! Giles, of course, is probably going to be way more suited to the original "Grim" fairy tales of any given world. I'd be up for him being a monster if anyone needs an antagonist! Troll under the bridge, dragon guarding the treasure, evil sorcerer, you name it. Although if there are any fairy tales out there that would let him play the hero, all the better...

If anyone does want to work him into a "traditional" fairy tale, though, I'd also be up for that.

Characters won't be compelled to actually kill one another. More likely the hero will stab the villain with a broom and then the villain will go and play out a dramatic death, fall on the ground, and then be back to their old self.

And other canon fairy tales are fine, sure.

Giles should be the father for a fairy-tale princess Ami, lulz. Though I sort of want to work on knight/princess with Ami/Usa if Usa-mun is up for it. BOTH??

The king offering half the kingdom for the safe return of his daughter? Or, HM, Usagi could be his "daughter" and Ami could be the brave knight who saves her and gets her hand in marriage?

I'd be up for both! Or a mixture of either/or.

I do, too! It would definitely be a new take on Giles and Ami's relationship, especially.

Whee~! Usagi-mun is up for it (you may have seen).

We're talking about Ami 'saving' her when it turns out she just got lost sometime (lulz) and/or the final day when Nami becomes evil!queen, letting Usagi get poisoned and- Ami saving her with the Heimlich maneuver. (Hey, it's in one of the old versions. And it'd be so Ami. XD)

Hope Luceti likes same-sex marriages, because she's marrying your daughter, King Giles.

Already mentioned back on Plurk, but up for any and all plotting.

Swan Princess was mentioned? I think that would be perfect, especially for Ginia.

...would Giles be the prince or the horrible sorcerer who gets them into this mess in the first place?

I can't pass up the Odette/Odile thing and it gives Alice another legitimate reason to be out. Also it's a ballet. Ginia will shamelessly show off.

What would you prefer?

It's a ballet. Something nice has to happen to her this event.

HM. Not sure. Although Levy has offered to take up the post of evil sorcerer, so probably male lead. But don't quote me yet.

Yes, something does.

Noted. This is one that they could finish in an hour so it definitely frees up the rest of their day for plenty more stories.

(also have a new idea with Alice and Alice in Wonderland.)

It's also been suggested Giles wear his wizard costume at some point.

I pitched this idea last night, but since I'm leaning toward the ballet (and spontaneous dancing is always awesome), everyone has their own dance style? Like Ginia is ballet, Alice is tango, etc.? Because then the duel between the prince and the evil sorcerer can be a dance battle.

Also how do you feel about awkward-not-awkward kisses to give them something to discuss post-event?
