So how many characters here are sailors or have naval/marine/pirate combat experience? How many have naval/pirate command experience?

Sokka has a lot of experience, being on and off vessels for most of his life. He's never really commanded one, but he'd definitely know how to run one.

I think in Jack's long life he knows his way around a ship, but mostly just enough that he'll have no problem adapting to it.

Asch has been involved with piloting a landship, and most of his experience involves using it on the water. He'll know enough about moving large vehicles through water to be of some assistance to whoever's in command.

Well, this guy sort of knows a little about sailing!

Granted, I'm not sure he'll be much use. And I think he kind of bugs Archie, so~

Piers definitely has plenty of naval combat and command experience. He's basically the owner of the ship they have in canon and is definitely very familiar with everything that needs to be done on it, including dealing with the random monsters that feel like coming on board.

Of course, his ship is made to be able to be sailed by one person. Yay for magical ships that can sail the ocean without an actual crew and I only hope that characters who actually do have ships can request their own.

And actually, the whole Golden Sun cast does have naval combat experience.

Echoing Piers here. Amiti has experience with naval combat, and sailing (guessing that he picked up some stuff while the guys were forced to sail and sleep outside on the deck during storms) RPG sailing mechanics, pretty much.

A Lemurian ship would be awesome, btw.

Prodigal navigator type here, capable of outmaneuvering scores of marine ships and reading ocean and air currents uncannily well. /o/ She's got experience solo-handling several ships and while she's never had a command, when she belts orders to do with navigation people follow them and how. /o/
