I haven't gotten a chance to tag caroline yet, but I love having her around the game and stalk her like mad! I don't know canon well enough to crit or anything, but she's a really funny, interesting, and just fun character to have around.

I constantly desire more Caroline in my life. Constantly. More so the stalking with other people but the interactional things are good too. I admire the sense of irreverence you're pulling off with her. I've never seen/read The Vampires Dairies, but it must be a very modern show and you're expressing that well.

I really enjoy how much Caroline being so very modern (the episode I pulled her from is set in late 2010) clashes with so many of the canons here in Luceti. It makes for great interactions with the wide variety of characters we have here, and I love playing that aspect of her. And, I'm so glad you noticed that! I do worry that I don't really show her authority issues well or enough (as she does has respect for people, it just depends on the who and the surrounding situation), so for that to come across to someone who isn't familiar with canon makes me happy.

I've already expressed so much love for Caroline to you, but I'll do it again. I think her CR with Draco is really what's finally pushed me to pursue the series and watch it. She's such a fascinating character, and I love the thought you put into her brackets so that we can see the other parts of her character that she doesn't verbally tell us. That and she bounces off of Draco so well that I can't help but love her.

I tend to watch for her threads with others, too, just because it's interesting to see how she reacts to people she's been around forever (Elena) and then new people.

Basically I adore her and please keep up the excellent work, Rumi.

I admit that I worry that I tl;dr in brackets more than I should, as I've been known to get carried away with meta and paint a separate picture from what has to do with the current scene, so I'm relieved to hear that I haven't been spamming you with annoying text walls, lol. Her CR with Draco's really surprised me - in a good way! I never expected her to mesh so well with him, but that CR is one of my favorites. It's so refreshing to be able to bounce her off someone who is, in a lot of ways, as awful as she is and doesn't judge those shallow parts of her person; especially since I nabbed her from canon before she really has the chance to develop past some of those less than admiral qualities, and Draco helps bring a lot of that out in her and helps her to feel like pre-vampire Caroline where she doesn't really, anymore.

Oh man. By all means please continue to spam me with tl;dr. I tend to do the same with Draco sometimes just because he's a character that won't really express why he reacts to things a certain way and I find it fascinating to explore the connections, and I find that with Caroline as well. Especially since I don't know her series that well. And right? They amaze me, and I'm excited to see how much more growth their CR can have. I think he sees a lot of himself and where he used to be in Caroline subconsciously which is half the reason he keeps going back to her so. Yes. I will be bothering you forever in the future.

I need to thread with Caroline more, I think. She's fun to read and you, like a few other players in the game I could mention, are excellent at pairing the words and images. I have a very visual reaction to the RP on LJ, and I always find her threads satisfying in that way.

As I said to Ty above, I've been concerned about my tl;dr'ing with meta, so to hear that people are enjoying it and it's doing the job it's intended to means the world to me. ♥ I cut my teeth on prose-heavy games, so setting the scene and opening a window into the characters mind in tags, whether prose or brackets, is just something that's become a part of my playing over the years.

I loved the thread we did in the past with Caroline and Jack, and I definitely need to look into tagging him more. :D

rumi. bb. i know nothing of tvd but -- as a general hmd thought? i love your sparky, snappy dialogue with caroline and with every character i've seen you play. you have a great feel for words and it bleeds through so beautifully.

I'm glad to hear this! She's a peppier character than my usual niche (/POINTED STARE AT ANGEL), so it's a relief to hear that her 'spark & snap' is coming across. ♥
