Right up front, I would like to mention that I'm aware that I have not been the world's greatest at keeping threads going as long as is customary here. There's a whole host of reasons for that, most of which I imagine would be kind of boring to hear me tl;dr about, so I'll just say that I've got it in mind, have been working on it, and plan to continue working on it.

I really have no concrit for Kay at all. And I have heard rumors that a love meme is going to be going up next weekend. That means I can gush later.

So I just have to say FOR NOW: I find her completely charming to stalk and well written. It's kind of unbelievable really, how far you have taken a one-episode character, and how well you are making her work in the game. I am not sure there is a "customary" thread length in Luceti; a lot of it depends on IC motivations and situations. Some end up super long and others end up short and some in the middle. Sometimes things get handwaved. Hopefully that kind of thing will get more comfortable for you the longer you are in the game!!!!! <3

That's so kind of you to say--thank you! I'm so pleased that she's fitting in at Luceti, because playing her is one of the most fun things I've done in a long time. ♥

And by "customary," I suppose I just mean...threads here tend to go on much longer than in other games in which I've played. (The idea that I have multiple posts here with more than 200 comments on them is still completely unreal to me. That's never, ever happened to me before.) Which is really cool--I love building rapport--but it also means that I don't quite have the tagging endurance for this game yet. I've dropped more tags than I think is appropriate, and I'm concerned that it's coming off as flaky. :/ tl;dr: I worry a lot about these sorts of things and really don't want people to think I'm purposely blowing them off.

I am totally impressed by your Kay. She's one of those characters who needs to be not only IC but historically accurate, and I can tell you're doing your research. Many many points for that.

Thank you! Researching for her is one of my favourite things to do (I spent my morning today looking at Sears Christmas catalogs from the 1940s, did you know), so I'm really glad that it's coming through (and hopefully not in a "look at all the research I did! do I get a gold star?" kind of way, lol). ♥

I really think that Kay is an interesting character and fun to watch. I am admittedly canonblind in regard to her but it's nice to see all the thought that goes into her character in your threads.

You're welcome! I've just found it so interesting, watching her adapt and such. I felt bad for her at that one party where she was all dressed up and it wasn't what she was expecting.

Probably so, but you never know |D I tend to feel that I'm canonblind most everything these days.

by which i mean you are incredibly dedicated, well-researched and generally hyper-talented. the way you think everything through in advance is truly impressive and i am consistently envious with the patience that you have for endless research and then thinking through all the minute details of what kay's general cultural context and the ramifications of that and what that means for her as a human bean.

And! Related as it is to Christmas lights, I find your Kay bright and colorful, and honestly? If I were to say she were a joy to tag with I would not be overstating the matter.
