And a quick follow up question: if someone gets injured by the beasts, or anything else rather, will those injuries retain at the end of the event as well?
Yeah. Anything that happens to the characters (whether it's getting injured, getting unsightly tattoos, or any other physical changes) will carry over to after the event.

Last second mod question on Giles' backstory -
Can I claim that Eyghon was just another villager with freaky powers and no morals who Giles unwisely followed when he was younger, or do I need to further adjust that whole "bad magic hates the world ticking time bomb" phase?
Also - if characters are related to other characters that are no longer "in game" by the time of the event, would they remember that they were, or would the memories of those connections fade entirely afterwards?
Specifically, I mean the issue of Willow and Xander - they were Giles' kids, and Ami's, Amelia's, and Vash's siblings (technically Vivi's, as well), but they won't actually be involved in the scope of the event.
Will, for example, this bunch remember that they were related to Willow and Xander once the event is over? Or will that particular facet of the AU get blanked out as being outside the scope of the ten days?

Actually, on the same vein as Giles-mun's questions, what about a character like Alex who is mallynapped for the duration of the event? We put him in a family just for the sheer horror that would be involved with Piers and Amiti being related to him and he'll have gone missing again (which in the AU we were saying was not uncommon for him).
Or should we just make sure to make some comment about how he went missing yet again and is such a horrible father to Amiti to ensure they will remember?
