[So. He didn't expect to be coming to the second large party in awhile, but as far as Robert is concerned, Helios' welfare and enjoyment is worth the effort.

He looks shy and nervous - albeit less so than he did during the Christmas Ball, as he knows most of these individuals - but is more animated, smiling and joining the occasional conversation and not entirely isolating himself.

And whenever he gets a chance... he might try to get close to Helios. When he isn't interrupting, of course.

He can be spoken to during all sorts of moments - checking his journal obsessively to see if Don's alright by himself, rearranging the food on the table if it looks unkempt, cleaning any minor messes without prompting, and in general helping out as much as possible.

Also, this particular cake? The turtle praline chocolate cake? Well... guess who's responsible for it. If only because his mun likes the turtle puns.]

[ Helios will be making the rounds to talking to people who have come. The draft going on is always in the back of his mind and everyone here must have some sort of worry going on within their minds.

But that just means the party needs to be as festive as ever and Ginia and Giles did wonders with the food and decorations. But there is one person he'll hang around a little bit more with. Robert you can have one derpy headmaster walking up to you a very apparent smile on his face. ] Thank you for coming Robert. I-I'm sorry Donatello couldn't come with you though. He should have, I think he would have had fun.

[Robert is more than glad to see that Helios wants to spend time with him, even on his own birthday - it's wonderful to see him so happy, beaming brightly like the ray of sunshine he is.]

Oh, it is... my pleasure, Helios. I am more than glad to be here for you...

... As for Don, it is... difficult weather for him. [And Robert may or may not know how awkward Don was about this. But still, part of him is glad Don's at home and doesn't have to deal with all the people of the party in his slowed-down state.]

... I will make sure to check him frequently, but I believe he is... entertaining himself.

In the meantime... happy birthday. [Robert says it as genuinely as he can.]

And I'm glad you could make it, really, I am. But if you need to return at any point...please feel free to do so. I-I know this time of the year is probably quite difficult for him and his brother.

[ Helios looks outside at the snow falling. ] I've never had snow fall on my birthday...funny since leaving near mountain you'd think it'd fall all the time.

You should... tell me more about your home, sometime... [By that, Robert means everything about it. His curiosity has been piqued by the mention of a brother, and of a culture he doesn't really understand, and the description and visuals of part of the Sprensonne castle.] I am... very curious.

... But today is a day to celebrate you... [At this, Robert draws a little closer.] ... And how important you are to us...

[ Helios blinks, smiling and nodding at the request. ] I'd love to.

[ He notes the other drawing closer but doesn't make to move away. Helios is surprisingly comfortable with this, actually. ] Important...ah, yes. Thank you.

[Robert is, frankly, trying to get Helios by himself at this point. There has been one prevailing thought in his head ever since he's arrived, and the mistletoe scattered around has only exacerbated that mindset...]

... I... almost cannot state how... important a person you are to me, Helios. But... but I want you to... to be as happy as possible, today... and, and for everything you want to be yours'...

[He nervously leans into the headmaster a little, smiling more despite himself.]

... I... I wanted to give you... s-something, but... nothing I could give you would ever be enough...

[Grune is just on the verge of saying hello when she notices Robert checking his journal. Oh, she'll just wait until he's finished.

Once he is, however, and she remembers what she was going to do, she gives him a big smile and calls out cheerfully:] Hello, Robert!

[Yes, Don is still fine. Or at least, Don is assuring Robert this after the half-dozenth time Robert checked.

He looks up from his journal then, smiling when he catches sight of Grune.] Ah - hello, Grune. [And he actually heads over to her - few people get the distinction of Robert not minding them being closer.]

Are you enjoying the party, so far...?

Oh, yes, it's such a nice party, isn't it? Helios must be very happy.

I... certainly hope he is. [Robert beams softly, gray eyes full of love for his best friend.] He... deserves to be happy today...

... Well, he deserves to be happy always. But... e-especially today.

[Grune was part of the arrangements, wasn't she?] The party organizers did... a splendid job.

[She was, but she's thinking about everyone else when she says:] Yes, everyone worked so hard, didn't they?

Oh, well... I would say that too, yes. [He beams a little.] Have you tried... some of the cake I brought, Grune...?

[... Even though he knows she'd say it was delicious even if it wasn't.]

Oh, did you bake a cake?

[Trying that now! ...Or looking for it, anyway.]

Yes, I did...

It is here. [He directs Grune - as much as Grune can be directed - towards the turtle praline cake, sitting and looking quite delectable on one of the tables.] I thought Helios would... enjoy it. He is fond of chocolate...

Oh, it looks so good! [Wandering over to get a closer look.] I'm sure Helios will love it!
