[Rydia will either be in her room or Kain in hers. Either way, she never sees the point of having a separate one on these things. She requests some extra restoratives and the like before they have to go, though is otherwise as prepared as she can possibly be.

At some point, she'll wander and check in on friends and family. Might as well put that restlessness to good use, right? Whether they intend to fight alongside her or not isn't important, though she'll hope they'll at least be with someone.]

[Of course, Kain makes sure to go right away to settle in to the room Rydia's in. He seems confident as ever, showing no sign that he's at all bothered by the setting they're going into. They've gone through caves and fought back home after all.]

[Rydia wouldn't have it any other way, naturally. She flops back onto the bed, before propping herself up on her elbows.]

...I couldn't feel less like resting.

[Kain nods, he's far more interested in preparing and being fully alert when the time comes to get out there.]

[She sits up and scoots over to the edge of the bed, to be closer to him.]

We've done all we can, haven't we? Or is there something else we should request?

[Sigh. No. Kain knows there's not much they can do about the environment. He's just hoping to make it out alive... pretty much the most he hopes for on any draft.]

I'd prefer it, too. I know we've had to fight in caves before, but it's not my favorite setting. Still, we'll manage.

[At least if the cave were on a mountain it'd be better...]

I've been over all of the details we were given, several times more than usual...

[Maybe being prepared will alleviate the anxiety.]

We just... have to ensure that the enemy doesn't back us into any inescapable situations.]

[What if they're separated? What if magic is blocked somehow? Kain can't stop thinking the worst case scenarios...]

Of course. That's right, with that... we should encounter no difficulty.

[He's relieved that a tone of apprehension doesn't show up in writing.]

Right. The only thing we need to focus on in keeping Toothless focused on our enemies. This will be over before we know it.
