[Melaka is filled with a lot of feelings of uncertainty as soon as she gets to her room. She's carrying a lot of weapons on her already (not the scythe, but whatever) and is ready to go already but... here. This must be what the Uppers feel like. The whiteness, the comfyness, generally just looking pristine and serene.

It actually makes her feel out of place and uncomfortable. Still, she'll take this moment to request some painkillers for whatever is left agitating her wing (the left one is now sporting a simple silver clip which mercifully has not rejected her yet or anything but she also lost a number of feathers a week or so ago) and generally just... trying to figure out what to do with herself.

[Rogue passes Mel's room on the way back from the hanger. So she knocks.]

[And Rogue's greeting is suitably profound. Melaka may notice, however, that she is all suited up, complete with a shoulder holster.]

[She does. Here isn't cold so in Mel's case it's jeans + a tank top which doesn't cover her navel. She might switch out to something safer now she thinks of it... but oh well. Her wings are excused, of course]

Team uniform. [She gives the other girl a look-over.] You can probably get the machines ta make the same material for you, if ya want. It's some kinda sciencey hyper-strong an' resistant polymer.

[Shrug.] Tougher than normal material, but it ain't armor. It's cold an' heat resistant, won't just scratch off... [she shrugs a little] I might've dozed off when Hank was listin' the rest of the features.

[She doesn't seem to be handling this as gracefully as she could. Time to help her chill out. The Kurt way.

When she's not looking, he'll just teleport a foot above her bed and land on it, spread out and with his hands behind his bed.]

Ahhh, comfy. Now if only we could take these with us.

[WHAT. Reflexes actually almost get the better of her and she half-pulls out the blaster (mercifully she's not in the bed) but then stops. Oh. Kurt. She snorts]

Yeah, shame.

[Like Rogue, he's also in his uniform. And he almost bamfs away again when she reaches for the blaster, but he relaxes when she does.]

Seriously, the beds back in Luceti just don't seem as comfortable. I wonder if it's just a hotel thing?
