[He'll just be over here after a while, watching everyone else dance or eat or whatever suits their boots. It's pretty damn weird, having a celebration around him, period; hell, he's done plenty of small, quiet parties back home for others, but this is... a pretty big thing. He's married. Married! Ha, the others back home would drop their jaws at the thought of it.

And celebrating another birthday. Alive. Once the humored, unusual sort of modesty passes he's pretty content with how things've turned out. This wasn't bad. It was new, but.
