[Mrs. Wolfwood laughs a little sheepishly after the initial chorus of Happy Birthday dies down enough for her to go over to her husband and sneak a crafty kiss on his cheek.]

Happy?

[She also takes a moment to straighten up the tie that she actually used extremely creative means to get Wolfwood to wear- Milly can be downright sneaky when she wants to be, and if that means having to leave a great number of very very noticeable hickeys on her hubby's chest and collarbone then so be it.

She's dressed in a pretty wedding dress, and is carrying something wrapped up in silver and blue paper in her right hand.]

[He grins, brow drawn into his usual sort of exasperated amusement.]

Very. [And the master of subtlety, as he brushes back some of her hair:] You look pretty sexy in this dress, not to mention. Maybe I should make sure you wear it more often...?

[Or less often. If you get my meaning.

Also whatchu' got there. `_`]

[Leans her cheek against his hand, laughing a little as her cheeks flush at the compliment.]

As long as you promise to put on a tie when I do, then I'll wear it whenever you want.

[Or not wear it; gosh it's nice to not have you be scared of her anymore.]

I got you a little wedding present. It's silly, but you know, I thought it might be nice.

[Into your hand goes the parcel~.]

[O-oh. He smiles.]

For me, huh?

[He starts unwrapping it, feeling so very out-of-place, getting a present. Sure, he got some from time to time from the kids at the orphanage; they always made the grown-ups something or another, typically jewelry, or maybe a picture, or some other craft of sorts... But he's never really much gotten a present in a nice little fancy box before.]

I wonder if I should guess what it is...?

You can guess if you like. It's all part of the fun.

[She watches him carefully and smiles at the look on his face.]

It's nothing very exciting, but I thought it might be nice.

[He pauses, looking thoughtful.]

Hn... Let's see. What kind of thing would Milly get me?

Is it something I'd wear?

No silly, it's nothing like that. It's much too small for that. Go on, open it!

I thought it might be something you'd use a lot and could take with you every day.

[Oh, fine; he takes off the lid thoughtfully-and then pauses in surprise.

A lighter. Aa, this actually is a pretty useful gift, considering his daily activities. He slips it from the box and padding, inspecting it with a soft, reserved face he typically saves for Milly alone.

He runs a thumb on the spine, grinning.]

Hey, hey, this is really nice...

[She smiles at the look on his face and covers his hand with hers.]

Why don't you turn it over?

[She might just have had a little something engraved on it...]

[He does so, reads it, and an amused grin creeps across his features.

'I love you more than pudding. M.'

It's unbelievably cheesy. And so very Milly. He'd laugh, but he's to polite to worry her with whether or not it's a good laugh or a bad one.]

Are you sure you do? Because you know, this is engraved. No take-backs.

[And she instead loops her arms around his neck and rubs her nose against his in an eskimo kiss.]

If we were on a boat again, and it was sinking, and there was a whole big crate of pudding and you, and I had to choose between saving you or the pudding... well I wouldn't even think about the pudding. That's how much I love you, Nicholas D. Wolfwood. I love you more than all the pudding in all the world.

[He drags her into a firm hug, laughing.] But just imagine-all that good dessert, at the bottom of an ocean...

It would be a terrible shame, but you'd be there to steer me through it all, wouldn't you? And that's why I love you more than pudding.

Mm, I'd steer you, alright! Right to the bakery, so we can fix that shame with plenty of sweets. Lots of orders of pudding cake, maybe?

[snuggles up to him, liking this close hug business while talking about confectionary.]

You could get me a pet Mr. Sanji-chan to make me cake whenever I want. And pudding! That would solve all our problems.

[Pet Sanji... e-eheheh.]

I'm sure you can do that with the Sanji now. He's pretty easy to convince, if it's a lady doing the asking.
