Even pint-sized, Ginia is still just as helpful as her usual adult self. There's been a day of cooking and helping Rise with all the Thanksgiving familiars - Turkey! Ham! Cranberry sauce! Mashed potatoes and gravy! Cornbread! - and then extra cookies and other recipes here and there. There's a smorgasbord of delicious food-y goodness awaiting everyone and Ginia's glad to have been able to help out.

Still, she's a little sad. Her family isn't here and even if she's made lots of new friends and met all sorts of people, she misses them, and she misses home. But as her mother always said, a bright smile can chase away the clouds, so Ginia will be smiling and trying to keep her spirits up as she hovers around the food table, making sure everyone is getting plenty of food and enjoying themselves. And as she hovers, remaining close by will be her loyal dog, Odin. Maybe a Thanksgiving party isn't the best place for a dog, but he stays by her, watching anyone who gets too close with his one eye. And maybe, just maybe, begging for the ( ... )

With supervision, Rise proves to be a pretty decent cook (without, it'd be a volcano-in-your-mouth experience, and not the good kind) and so, she's probably a little more tired at the moment than she'll let on. Her speciality's entertaining, not cooking.

Still, she'll wear her normal smile as she flits about the cafeteria, talking, socialising. It isn't till she finally retreats back to the wall near the food tables that she finally has a chance to wind down- and that's exactly when she sees Ginia.

"You doing okay there?" she asks.

Ginia perks up a little when she hears her name, turning to look over at Rise and smile at her. There's a great big enthusiastic nod as she takes her notepad and a pencil out of her pocket.

There's so many people! Everyone looks like they're having so much fun too.

She has to squint a bit to see what Ginia's written, but when she does, she smiles. "Right? That's the best part about parties."

Or at least, that's how the parties have been in this place. She's attended a lot of wrapup parties but they were usually big ones with all the cast and crew and Luceti's ones have always been tinier, cosier.

"Are they like this for Thanksgiving too?"

[She'd begged. She'd pleaded. She'd pouted and in the end, she'd kinda won. Except she wasn't allowed to help with anything and she was being watched like a hawk otherwise. Selphie's seated at a table with her ankle propped up on another chair close by while she waits for some tasty stuff to be brought back to her.

Otherwise, Selphie's sitting there quiet as a mouse with her nose stuck in a book about pirates. Come say hello! And... possibly take her over to those board games in the corner?]

[And from above (or is it behind? To her right? To her left?!), a voice asks:]

Chocolate or vanilla?

[Selphie looks up to see Rise offering something that is relevant to her sweet tooth's interest.]

A bit of both!

Thanksgiving was a holiday that Arsene Lupin III, gentleman thief and internationally wanted criminal, did not celebrate very often. He was as likely to be in Sao Paulo as Paris during the winter holidays and, not hailing from the United States himself, didn't feel a need to celebrate such a holiday ( ... )

Mac happens to be in the midst of gobbling everything on his plate - but that doesn't stop him from responding when he has been addressed. "Uh-huh!" He answers while chewing appreciatively; it's a marvel that he does not choke. "Feels like I ain't eaten this well in forever even though I go t'Seventh Heaven every night." That gets a little laugh out of him - after he has swallowed a mouthful of food, thankfully.

Lupin laughs too. The kid did have a point there...and such cheer even amidst such strange circumstances was heartening.

Lupin did notice a thread that intrigued him, though. "It is pretty good, isn't it? Hey, hold up a minute, would you? Isn't Seventh Heaven one of the food places here? How long have you been here?"

Briefly, Mac gazes ceilingward in thought, setting down his fork to scratch at an itchy collarbone. "Iunno - maybe a couple months? I ain't really been keepin' track, day by day... sometimes I think it'd start buggin' me if I did." He offers a one-shouldered shrug, his smile closed and wry and rueful.

[She said she would do it. And here she is, carry five big tubs of ice cream with her to the party. Ice cream is good no matter the weather after all, who cares if it's cold outside? There's always time to enjoy ice cream ( ... )

[...here, Yotsbua, why don't you let Giles help you with that truly frightening amount of ice cream.]

...do you, um, d-do you need somewhere to put that?

[Yotsuba will stare for a moment... This guy doesn't look as though he's out to steal her ice cream. So maybe she can hand some off to him.]

That would be nice! It's very cold and heavy. So cold I can't feel my fingers! [Said with her smile on her face.]

[No theft of ice cream here. Giles just...takes a couple of the cartons and motions as best as he can for Yotsuba to follow.] I, um, I think we can keep them over here until the party starts. F-Follow me.

As the old saying goes, where there's a buffet, there's a hungry Saiyan waiting to carry it all away. This party was no exception.

Wandering in without any offerings of food or, better yet, any idea of what was going on, Vegeta headed straight for the buffet table. He'd been flying all day trying to get his bearings and only the smell of food and the feel of multiple (weak) ki's converging in on this one location could convince him to come down. Luckily for him, it was an open party. He grabbed a plate and quietly got in line, putting his strategic mind to good use by piling his plate as efficiently as possible.

When he was done and sure that, yes, people would realize if the whole turkey went missing, he went to stand by himself in a corner feeling glad that whatever fresh hell this place might be, at least it had food.
