[Gelda's been kidnapped for quite some time now, she knows that much. Two weeks? Three? She's lost count of the exact days. Being heavily drugged and losing consciousness every so often can do that to a person. Yet, whenever she's sensible enough to form coherent thoughts, all that's on her mind is whether she's worrying the ones who are close to her. Her friends, her former students, her current students... Regal...

Surely, the Malnosso must be done with her soon. Surely.

Carefully, she pushes herself to her feet and wanders towards the door. It's taking her quite a bit of effort and she needs to hold onto the wall for support with both hands. A groan escapes her when a massive surge of pain spreads through her head for a few seconds, but she treks on. Perhaps she can peer through the window in the door and into the cell across the hall.]

[Across the cell this time is someone who's been here about as long as she has, though it's not often he's seen her upright or out of the hands of the droids. Often as he's looking out his own window, it doesn't take long to notice the face across the hall.

He raises his voice enough so that he can hopefully be heard.] You all right?

[Well. Gelda's in luck; there's actually someone out there. She's sure she's seen him around the village before, but he's not a student. At his question, she gives a vague nod. Doing so any more firmly would just give her another headache.]

I'm... fine. And you?

Eager to complain about the room service, but eh. [He's tired.] I'll get by.

[She gives a weak, somewhat hoarse chuckle. At least some people are still trying to lighten the situation, rather than brooding away in a corner of their cell.]

If you do find a way to file a complaint, let me know. I've got some issues of my own I'd like to address.

You'll be the first one I send 'em to. [He shrugs his shoulders as much as he's able to.] I'm Shikamaru, by the way.

My name is Gelda Nebilim. It's a pleasure to meet you, Shikamaru. [She grabs hold of the bars before her with one hand, having a bit of trouble supporting her own weight.] ... I just wish it could have been under different circumstances.

[He sighs.] Yeah. Can't fault you there.

...you sure you should be up? You look like you could fall down any second.

[Even now, Gelda manages a brave smile. Never mind that she looks exhausted beneath that.] I'm fine. I'm simply... having a bit of trouble keeping my balance right now.

Don't know if that counts as fine.

[But he doesn't say more than that. He can't fault her for wanting to move around a bit, or talk to someone while she has the opportunity.]

Dizzy?

Ah... Well, yes. I suppose so. [She may be dizzy because of exhaustion, though. It's hard to tell at this point.]

Honestly, it could be so much worse.

Heh, don't have to tell me.

[No way of knowing, but he'll try and help if he can.] Try standing still, and slowly moving your around. It'll take a bit, but it might help ward some of that off.

[Yay ninja exercises. Guess the academy was good for something.]

Oh? I've never heard of that trick before.

[It's an interesting one, though. If it works, she'll definitely keep it in mind. She'll still have to try and hold on to the wall with one hand while she turns, just to be sure she won't collapse.]
