Well, let's hope you're dressed to kill, Luceti, because Cloud Nine is ready for some swank and style. In the past few weeks, the second floor has been transformed from storage to what promises to be--well, promising, as far as nightclubs go.
Ascend one (1) flight of stairs from Seventh Heaven and you'll find yourself in a room that's too large to be called cozy but not too large. There's a stage set up toward the front, a dance floor in front of it, and past that, tables covered with floor-length white cloths spreading out and back. Some are ideal for date nights, seating two comfortably; for those who'd rather travel in packs, tables for four or eight are scattered through as well. Though they might be in place tonight, they can clearly be put away should another evening call for it, if someone else should want to use the place for a rather different manner of nightclub.
Tonight, a buffet table promises canapés and other hors d'oeuvres, along with some sweeter finger foods for anyone cruising for dessert. There's a bowl of punch for those who'd rather not drink and a few different bottles of wine and champagne for those who would.
It's not the Ritz-Carlton, certainly, but who can argue with food, drink, and dancing? Once the music starts, it ought to be just about perfect.
