[Masaomi is lead to the party by Katara, as was agreed upon earlier. He just expected to come here to have fun with her - admittedly a somewhat unusual location by her standards but he'd never really refuse to go anywhere with her. Since Selphie wished him happy birthday yesterday on his real birthday he'd had a sense something is up - something probably caused by one of his former housemates. But...

Well, he wasn't expecting this surprise party. When he does make his entrance and sees the set up his eyes god wide, not really sure how to react - at all - to this. Certainly, he does seem surprised.]

[Katara hasn't felt much like partying. Between the mess in the square, and the aftermath, Zuko getting mallynapped and burning the house down... if she hadn't given her word that she'd arrange this for him, she'd be spending all her time in the med lab in the Dome.

But he gets a smile anyway.]

[What is- How did they- He bites his lip at first, not sure how to respond. He should have suspected this, but could anyone have known about this other than Mikado? And why would Mikado want to do this for him, why would Mikado-]

[It's actually Katara's voice which snaps him out of his reverie. He blinks once, but then recovers instantly. Fortunately, his surprise and that reaction don't mesh poorly at all, so he just gasps and allows his face to go into a stupid look of amazement]

Waaaaahhh?! I wasn't expecting this!

[And Katara won't be here long, but right now she's over by the fuseball table, trying to figure out... what the heck it is.

...has she ever even spent more than a few minutes inside this place? She doesn't think so.]

Earlier, during party preperations (possibly during the party itself as well)

[Tyria meant to contact Masaomi. She totally, really meant to. But between the experiment and the sudden assault on the village a few days ago, it completely slipped her mind.

... Not that she has a tendency to sometimes forget things altogether. No way.

So, after being reminded about the party receiving word that the date of it had changed, Tyria got to work the morning of making some food, as she told Mikado she would. Therefore, before the actual party gets underway, Tyria can be seen coming in with a fairly large cardboard box with three food storage containers in it. When she takes them out, it can be seen that the containers are labeled as well

[...Okay, Gold has seen weird-looking food before, but these octo-sausage and squid-sausages are definitely up there. Gold is now staring at one in his hand, like it's diseased, unsure if he should dare to eat it.]

He whips out his Pokégear and begins typing up a message. Once it's finished, he shows the screen to Tyria.]

Lina has never been invited to a birthday party before. She spends the majority of it doing her best to avoid the snack table, dancing like an idiot to any music, and chatting people up.

She might toss a few light spells here and there for ambiance when it gets later.]
