Who:
oneofsaya and you!
What: The big battle.
When: June 18th, afternoon.
Where: Anywhere.
Summary: Kusanagi has decided to go on a freaking rampage and will KILL YOU ALL. So, uh. I think it's a good time to make like Ike and fight for your friends.
Rating: M (for death and violence!)
(
dead, dead, dead, dead )
And then she had come home to find her village a war zone.
Even Grune can't miss what this means. When she finds the person responsible battling one of the villagers, she sets down her bouquet of flowers and begins to cast a spell.
Her intent isn't to do anything more than distract Mu when her opponents need it. As she is now, Grune couldn't possibly be a match for her, and she wouldn't want to kill her--only incapacitate her.
So, who is she buying time for? Is it you? Even if you've only said hello to her once--in even if she's only seen you around the village--she considers you a friend she must protect.]

That plan had gone flying out of the window the moment he'd seen the carnage around the village. The moment he'd felt a certain pang in his chest...
He's running around, now, trying to look for the person responsible. Trying to protect those who are still fighting. If he can only save a single person, perhaps...
Which is why he throws himself in front of the first spellcaster he sees, knowing that every second of concentration counts with magic.]

She's not surprised when she notices more of the humans appear. Had they been taking less time to appear? She doesn't care to keep track.] Multiple targets located.
[...just like before, a flicker in her memories when she sets her eyes on the man. No matter.]
Continuing assault. [Surprise, guys. Her arms push down, and a beam of light shaped akin to a sword erupts from beneath the two of them in an attempt to knock them over. Watch your feet!]

Her voice is calm, almost dreamy, before she's hit:] Bloody Howling--ah!
[As she's knocked off her feet by the beam of light, darkness spirals around her, and then a dark, multi-coloured orb encircles Mu. It's not a strong attack--Mu would probably only register it as an annoyance--but it would allow Mu's latest victim a chance to fight back or flee.]

Miss! Are you unharmed?
[He manages to stumble towards her, with less distance between them this time. He'll not allow himself to make the same mistake again.]

Minimal damage. [What's the point of even saying that? Is it like she's taunting them?] Continue assault.
[Kusanagi isn't going to give the two much time to get acquainted, because once she's free from the spell's binding she will summon what almost looks like an electrified-looking orb that ripples towards the duo's path as Kusanagi quickly follows after it--anyone struck by the orb will be struck by it multiple times before it disperses seconds later. Hopefully, the two are good at close combat.]

[Out of the corner of her eye, she catches sight of Mu's response and dodges out of the way. Her weapon is at home, and so she's essentially physically defenseless.
As soon as she's able, she moves back a little and begins casting Bloody Howling again.]

With the spells Dhaos cast hopefully distracting Kusanagi for a few seconds, he casts a Protect spell on Grune. Shell would probably be more useful, considering all that magical power, but at least it'll reduce the sting of any physical attack that manages to hit her.]

Still, the moment the attack seems to have dispersed is when Kusanagi gets back up, swiping the blades back behind her back.] Third threat detected. Target status confirmed -- adjusting battle priorities.
[Three against one. Her newest threat being Dhaos, Kusanagi decides to deal with him first, but not before keeping the other two distracted by her own distortion--after all, she doesn't quite feel like having to put up with Bloody Howling again.
She moves back a bit, spreading her arms as a wave of explosions head toward Grune and Cecil. As they deal with that, Kusanagi is going to pursue Dhaos.]

Regardless, even if she does get hit, she's going right back to casting that spell. She needs to protect her friends.]

...not surprising, coming from a target whose threat level appears to be SS. But Kusanagi won't relent! Being the biggest threat of this band of trios, she's going to keep the other two in the background for the moment in an attempt to deal with Dhaos firsthand. The orbs are summoned again, two this time, and as they chase and shoot lasers at Dhaos she approaches again. Kusanagi wants the closeness proximity, which is why she moves in for a grab.]

[Second verse, same as the first. The sphere of darkness should temporarily blind Mu and buy Dhaos some time.
As soon as she's finished casting, she turns to Cecil.] Are you all right?
[It was because of him than she could finish her spell--he got hurt for her. Even if she doesn't know his name, she knows he's a true friend.]
