[It's very early in the morning that Albert wakes up, and it takes a good while for him to work up his usual composure to take on the world. There's annoyance and confusion in his mind, but he has things he has to do.

Namely, check on his horse and go for a ride. The faster, the better. He needed to clear his head.

He can be seen both around and on the borders of the village in the morning all the way to past noon.]

No more so than weddings done when both parties are drunk, I imagine. [It's a wry response, as he really doesn't know. There was nothing about Luceti that could make it official besides everyone accepting it.]

Right. It's like that...that legal term. About needing the mental part of an act for it to even count. I can't remember what it's called. It's in Latin.

Some. Not that particular conversation. [Or so he hopes. It's ... unfortunate his initial talks with Jack Sparrow have been painted by that Shift experiment. Or whatever that was.]

I would apologize if there was something to apologize for. Again, we ... simply enjoyed each other's company. [Even if he had been coaxing her to end a bad marriage that did not in actuality exist.]

[ she has no logic to support this, just the overwhelming and very typically buffy feeling that things are her responsibility. ]
